Posh: 'affair claims strengthened marriage'

Victoria Beckham has said her marriage was made stronger by claims husband David cheated on her.

The mother of three spoke for the first time about Rebecca Loos, who claimed to have had an affair with the former England captain three years ago.

"No one said marriage was going to be easy. But now we've come out stronger and happier. It's even better now than when we were first married" - Victoria Beckham

Her comments come as the couple jet off for a new life in Los Angeles, with David set to be unveiled by US football club LA Galaxy on Friday.

Victoria said: "I'm not going to lie. It was a really tough time.

"David and I got through it together. No one said marriage was going to be easy.

"But now we've come out stronger and happier. It's even better now than when we were first married."

The revelation coincides with a hot photo shoot for US fashion magazine W which celebrates the couple's arrival in the States.

The couple grace the cover of the magazine with Posh in a skimpy mesh swimsuit and her husband showing off his heavily-tattooed torso.

In the interview David confessed he was happy to let Victoria wear the trousers in their relationship, especially when it came to picking his clothes.

He said: "I've always had a liking towards clothes but when I met Victoria she directed me in the right way.

"When she tells me something doesn't look good, I believe her. We have a connection that way."
