The Mummy's alive in LA

The Mummy franchise has come back to life as stars of the latest flick gathered for the LA premiere.
Brendan Fraser returns as explorer Rick O'Connell in The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor.

The star says the third instalment of the series couldn't have come sooner.
"It's been seven years. I've been running out of excuses to tell people when's the next Mummy movie," he said. "Finally we got the call. Here we go again."
Stars at the premiere included Maria Bello, who replaces Rachel Weisz in the role of Evelyn, Michelle Yeoh and Jet Li who plays the Dragon Emperor who's been awoken from a 2,000-year-old curse.
The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor opens in the UK on August 6.
