Moss range heads to US
Kate Moss could be heading up the launch of Topshop across the Atlantic when her clothing range is made available in the US.
Topshop founder Sir Philip Green has struck a deal with department store Barneys to sell the model's clothes at 19 stores.
The Kate Moss clothing range will be available in the UK next month before it launches at Barneys' flagship Madison Avenue store on May 8.
Sir Philip told a newspaper that the move was the "ultimate test" for the fashion retailer, and comes as it plans a major expansion for the group.
It currently has 303 stores in the UK and 97 overseas, but has yet to tap into the American market.
The model follows Madonna has the latest celebrity to launch a fashion line.
