Andy Murray was thrashed 6-1 6-0 by teenage rival Novak Djokovic in the Miami Masters semi-final.

The highly anticipated battle of the 19-year-olds failed to fulfil expectations as the Serb overwhelmed a lethargic Murray.

"It's the worst match I've probably played since I've been on the Tour" - Andy Murray

The 10th seed, who also beat Murray in the Indian Wells semi-finals earlier this month, broke the Scot five times as he raced through the last 11 games.

It was a superb tactical display from Djokovic, who won in just 62 minutes. But, Murray was desperately out of sorts as he fell to his heaviest defeat so far on the ATP Tour.

Djokovic now has a 3-0 career record against Murray and will play either seventh seed Ivan Ljubicic or unseeded Argentine Guillermo Canas in the final.

"It's the worst match I've probably played since I've been on the Tour," Murray admitted.

"He played better than me today. I wasn't very good so no excuses."
