Rocker Pete Doherty left court vowing to stay off drugs after the remaining conditions of his drug treatment order were removed.

Doherty, 28, appeared at Thames Magistrates' Court in east London for a review of the order.

"I have just had enough really. It's just the beginning, you know what I mean. My life has changed" - Pete Doherty

District Judge Jane McIvor wished the singer well after revoking the six months left of the order given to Doherty in 2006.

The Babyshambles frontman told the crowd waiting outside the court: "I have just had enough really. It's just the beginning, you know what I mean. My life has changed."

The singer added that he was following a rehabilitation programme and wanted to concentrate on getting back on the road with his band.

And the former Libertines star is reportedly trying to get his life back on track again by giving up alcohol on his impending tour.

Doherty plans on celebrating his time off drugs by playing a series of solo gigs in booze-free venues.
