Bono recently received an honorary knighthood from the Queen but said he didn't want to be called sir "Sir".

The singer was given the honour during a brief ceremony at the official Dublin residence of British ambassador David Reddaway. The rocker, like Bob Geldof, is technically not entitled to be called "Sir" as he is not a British citizen.
