Depp takes Sweeney Todd to Japan
Hollywood star Johnny Depp wowed fans as he touched down in Japan to promote his new film Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street.
Hundreds of screaming fans waited for hours at Narita airport near Tokyo to catch a glimpse of the Pirates of the Caribbean star.
Depp plays a serial-killing barber in a grim story of revenge set on the grimy streets of 19th Century London.
The movie sees Depp team up with director Tim Burton once again for the murderous musical.
The pair have worked on several films together including 1990's Edward Scissorhands and more recently on a remake of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
The film also stars Burton's other long-time collaborator and real-life fiancée Helena Bonham-Carter, who gave birth to the couple's second son last December.
