Corrie star named Mum of the Year
Soap star Kym Ryder has been hailed a "role model" after being crowned Celebrity Mum of the Year.
The Coronation Street actress was chosen to receive the award for successfully juggling her busy TV career and motherhood.
Ryder, 31, plays barmaid Michelle Connor in the ITV1 soap and is mum to David, 12, and Emily, ten.
She was joined by ten other mums honoured for their special achievements by Tesco Magazine.
Ryder said: "I'm shocked and thrilled to have won this award from Tesco Magazine. And I feel humbled to have won alongside such amazing mums, whose stories are truly incredible."
She follows in the footsteps of her former Hear'Say bandmate Suzanne Shaw who was recently crowned La Redoute Celebrity Mum of the Year at a separate ceremony.
