Westlife star Kian Egan holds the answer to the biggest X Factor question...who has made it into the final 12?

Unfortunately the singer is keeping that precious information under wraps but he has revealed he will be working on the popluar show as a mentor for the second year.

We had a lot of big guns helping us out. I think the more people you have around you that know what they're doing the better for you as an act" - Kian Egan

The star, who has found huge success with his own pop band, will give the hopefuls his advice and support and believes it's all about giving back.

"We were helped out an awful lot by people when we started off in the industry. Walsh helped us out, Ronan Keaton help us out. We had a lot of big guns helping us out. I think the more people you have around you that know what they're doing the better for you as an act," he said.

And the acts getting his special attention will be the over 25s. Irish music mogul Louis Walsh was pretty upset to be given the category and Kian is hardly surprised as he doesn't think the oldies have the X Factor either.

Kian said: "I personally didn't see the winner in Louis' category, unfortunately for Louis."

Former pop star Sinitta will be helping Simon Cowell nurture his team of groups, Sharon Osbourne will be taking on the 14-24 year old girls, leaving Dannii Minogue to look after the boys.
