Jackson goods head to auction

The biggest collection of Jackson family memorabilia will soon be up for grabs when it heads to the auction block in Las Vegas.

Dozens of outfits worn in concert by Michael Jackson, platinum records, and pictures of the Jacksons with other celebrities are among the many items for sale through New York's Guernsey's auction house.

The auction - which will last two days - is expected to fetch millions of dollars from people around the globe

The collection of around 2,000 items were made available after Jackson's lawyers reached an agreement with a transportation company that owned the items and wanted to sell them. The singer had failed to put a stop to the sale.

As part of the agreement, Jackson has been invited to the auction at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, but he has not indicated if he will be in attendance.
