Des O'Connor sets wedding date
Des O'Connor will marry his fiancee Jodie Brooke Wilson in Spetember, after 17 years together.
The 75-year-old TV presenter will tie the knot with the Australian singer-songwriter four years after he first proposed.
Their two-year-old son Adam will play a central role in the ceremony and his four grown-up daughters from three previous marriages will also attend.
Des said: "I want it to be a day Jodie will treasure for the rest of her life.
"We are both romantics and we can't wait to share this day with the people we love."
They decided to marry while they were on holiday Down Under at Christmas.
He added: "It won't make any difference to our lives together but I know Jodie will feel more comfortable saying 'my husband' rather than 'my partner' and I will always be proud to introduce Jodie as my wife."
