Kanye lends skills to Jacko's new album

Hip Hop superstar Kanye West has revealed he will be teaming up with Michael Jackson on the King of Pop's comeback album.

Kanye, who recently beat fellow rapper 50 Cent in the charts when his album Graduation went to No 1, will lend his musical genius to the legendary singer.

It has already been confirmed that the pop star has drafted in Black Eyed Peas frontman will.i.am and R&B star NE-Yo for collaborations

The new record will be Jacko's first since 2001's Invincible.

The album is thought to have a contemporary sound and is rumoured to have a release date in early 2008.

Meanwhile, suggestions are emerging that the megastar is being lined up to appear on the X Factor as a mentor.
