Kylie Minogue has headlined the Nobel Peace Prize concert in Norway, which was hosted by US actors Uma Thurman and Kevin Spacey.

Al Gore, who won this year's Nobel Peace Prize for his work drawing attention to Climate Change, was given a standing ovation as he arrived with Indian scientist Rajendra Pachauri.

Kylie Minogue kicked off the show with her songs "Can't Get You Out of My Head" and "2 Hearts".

In her introductory speech, Thurman called for the public to change the way they think about climate change.

The Kill Bill actress said: "It's also a timely validation of an organisation and an individual who have been vilified by those who have disputed the scientific case for the human role in climate change."

Kylie kicked off the show with her songs Can't Get You Out of My Head and 2 Hearts.

There were also performances by Alicia Keys, KT Tunstall and Annie Lennox.
