Duran Duran get their sexy back

Duran Duran have received a little helping hand from Justin Timberlake and Timbaland on their new album.

Red Carpet Massacre is set to be released in the US and UK later this month, and features Britney Spears' ex-boyfriend on first single Fallen Down, while Timbaland lent his production skills to three tracks.

Eight other songs were produced by Duran Duran and Nate "Danja" Hills, who recently worked with Spears on her latest album.

Drummer Roger Taylor explained the band is always looking ahead and aware of new music.

He said: "We tend to look at other artists who are happening now and making great records, of which Timbaland and Justin Timberlake have been at the forefront over the past few years.

"So as soon as we got the opportunity to work with them it was like 'Yeah, who wouldn't?'"

Red Carpet Massacre is released on November 19.
