Man charged over toddler murder

A man has been charged with the murder of a two-year-old boy in Leicester.
The toddler was found after officers were called to a house in Thornholme Close, Beaumont Leys on Friday morning.
A 38-year-old man has been charged with his murder and has been remanded in custody
The little boy was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.

He will appear before magistrates in Leicester on Monday morning.
Leicestershire Police said it is awaiting the results of a post-mortem examination of the child's body.
