Madge to plan 50th b-day show?
Madonna is reportedly planning to perform a gig in New York's Central Park to mark her 50th birthday.
According to reports, she's been cooking up plans for the big day, which will be August 16 next year.
Meanwhile, the Queen of Pop will be heading to the US for a tour in 2008 to promote her forthcoming album.
A source is quoted as saying: "One of the ideas she loves is to do Central Park on her birthday.
"She came up with it and has been discussing it as a serious possibility. She doesn't like getting older but she knows there's no way she can pretend her birthday isn't happening.
"She is planning to kick off a world tour next June in America to promote her new album. Playing at Central Park would be the highlight. She sees it as a huge televised event."
