The 30-year-old said it was a shame she didn't spend more time in London as being a New Yorker she "always feels London is a sister city to New York."

Currently taking four months off Gellar said she was looking forward to a lot of shopping and when asked whether she would cope with the stress of the sales, she replied: "I'm a New Yorker I thrive on stress."
