Playboy Hef celebrates 81st

Hugh Hefner has spent the weekend rocking hard in Las Vegas to mark his 81st birthday.

The Playboy mogul entertained the company of the Hilton sisters, David Hasselhoff, Edward Norton, magician David Copperfield and his three 'Girl Next Door' girlfriends amongst others at his Playboy Club.

He said: "I was trying to decide what to do for my 81st birthday, so we were going to hold a pyjama party at the playboy mansion, and we held a big one for my 80th birthday a year ago and I thought, what could we do to be a little bit different this year.

"So that is what it is all about and we decided to come here. I gave George (Maloof, Palms Casino Hotel owner) a call and he thought it would be a swell idea, so here we are."

At the bash, Paris Hilton gave Hefner a special birthday message saying, "Hef, I love you and I am so excited to be here in Las Vegas for your new Playboy club, so have a wonderful birthday and I will see you in a little bit."

The Playboy club is situated in the new "Fantasy Tower" of the hugely popular Palms Casino Hotel, founded in 2001 by the Maloof brothers.
