Osbourne 'quits X Factor'
Sharon Osbourne has walked out on the X Factor, after two of her three acts were faced with the chop.
The 55-year-old judge announced live on the show "I'm out - gone!" when she was faced with choosing between Kimberley Southwick and Alisha Bennett.
Host Dermot O'Leary told viewers: "Sharon can't choose between her acts. The final vote will be between three judges, as Sharon has decided to leave."
The remaining judges decided to send home Southwick, after being left unimpressed with her version of It's Raining Men.
A spokeswoman for the show said: "Sharon was obviously very upset that two of her acts were in the bottom two last night."
When asked if she would be participating in next week's programme she said: "We're waiting to hear but hopefully she'll be back with us next week."
