Group C begins with draw for France

France have suffered a blow in their Group C opening match of Euro 2008.

The Euro 2000 champions and World Cup runners-up two years ago, failed to break down a stubborn Romania side in a goalless draw in Zurich.

Thierry Henry has revealed the injury which ruled him out of the match was a thigh strain.

But the Barcelona striker said: "It was touch and go. I still have a little pain from training yesterday.

"I hope to be there against Holland. I am not doctor so we will have to see how it develops."
