Sven-Goran Eriksson could be plotting England's downfall at the 2010 World Cup.
The former England boss was appointed as Mexico coach 48 hours after being sacked by Manchester City.
"Our goal is the 2010 World Cup" - Sven-Goran Eriksson
And he immediately set his sights on qualifying for the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.
He said: "Our goal is the 2010 World Cup and try to do it better than in the past.
"Mexico is a big, big job. To help Mexico reach the World Cup is a big challenge. You have 120 million people and it's motivating.
"I like big challenges, so it is up to me to convince the supporters and the players that I am the right man."
