Winehouse bailed after drugs arrest
Police have released Amy Winehouse after questioning her over alleged drug offences.
The troubled singer was interviewed at Limehouse police station in east London and quizzed for several hours before being released on bail late on Wednesday.
Scotland Yard said a 24-year-old woman attended a police station by appointment and was arrested over the possession of drugs.
Police added the arrest was in connection with a video of the star passed to them in January.
On January 22, a newspaper published pictures apparently showing the Rehab singer smoking crack cocaine.
Footage obtained by The Sun appeared to show her inhaling fumes from a crack pipe after a 19-minute drugs binge.
The star was also shown apparently snorting ecstasy and cocaine and admitting downing six Valium.
Winehouse's spokesman said in a statement: "Amy Winehouse voluntarily attended a London police station today by appointment.
"She was arrested in order to be interviewed and is co-operating fully with inquiries.
"The interview relates to a video handed to police earlier this year."
