Mourinho: 'Lampard will join Inter'

Former Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho claims Frank Lampard will join him at Inter Milan next summer.

The England midfielder was linked with the Italian giants before they appointed Mourinho as manager and the speculation has intensified since the Portuguese took charge.

"I am 100 per cent sure in 2009/2010 he will be playing here" - Jose Mourinho

Now Chelsea have signed Deco from Barcelona, Lampard could be surplus to requirements at Stamford Bridge, but Mourinho claims it will be difficult to complete a deal before the start of the season.

He said: "It's not because we don't want him to, but I'm sure Chelsea and Chelsea's officials don't want to sell him.

"However for the next season it will be easier for him to join me at Inter.

"I'm 100 per cent sure in 2009/2010 he will be playing here."
