Grant will keep job
Avram Grant will remain as Chelsea manager next season according to the chief executive of the League Managers' Association.
Grant's future has been the subject of speculation because Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich has not been to watch any of the club's recent games.
But Grant has guided Chelsea to the final of the Champions League and they can still win the Premier League.
Richard Bevan, chief executive of the League Managers' Association, said: "I've spoken to a couple of people and I don't believe Avram will lose his job. Roman Abramovich is very close to Avram, they're friends and similar characters in many ways.
"In Russia they say Abramovich loves his football and wants to get more involved. I think we'll see a closer relationship between the two next year and bigger signings as well.
"I'm told that when Abramovich is not at Chelsea games it's because he has responsibilities at the highest level of Russian government that he takes very seriously."
