'Spurs are growing in confidence'
Juande Ramos believes Tottenham Hotspur are growing in confidence following their 2-0 Uefa Cup Group G win over Hapoel Tel Aviv.
But the 53-year-old Spaniard has admitted that his men were well short of their best against the team bottom of the Israeli league.
And Ramos will be hoping to see Spurs record only their second league win of the season when Wigan Atheltic visit White Hart Lane this weekend.
He said after Tottenham kickstarted their Uefa Cup campaign: "I was impressed with the performance, although we did not play at our best.
"I was also thinking about the Wigan match; I saw the team grow in confidence and I am confident about Sunday's match."
Wigan are managerless following the sacking of Chris Hutchings at the start of the week.
