A Take That musical featuring all the band's best known songs is set to hit a West End stage.

Producers say it will not be the true story of Gary Barlow and his fellow bandmates but instead it will be a fictional tale about a Take That tribute act.

"We hope that the band will be delighted with the production when they see the show themselves" - Co-producer Bronia Buchanan

Never Forget is described as a "feel-good comedy about love, friendship, ambition and betrayal".

Classic hits from the group, who have recently enjoyed success again will be performed on stage including Relight My Fire, Pray, Babe, Back For Good, and the title song of the show.

Co-producer Bronia Buchanan said: "We are creating a spectacle which will appeal to both Take That fans and musical theatregoers alike.

"We hope that the band will be delighted with the production when they see the show themselves."

The musical will follow other West End hits with fictional stories such as Mamma Mia!, set to Abba songs, and the Queen show We Will Rock You.

Never Forget will tour Cardiff, Glasgow, Manchester, Stoke-on-Trent and Edinburgh before heading to a London venue.
