Teen held over stab murder
A fifth teenager has been arrested over the fatal stabbing of an 18-year-old in London.
Charles Junior Hendricks was knifed in the chest near a bus garage in Walthamstow last Sunday.
Two males, aged 19 and 17, who were arrested nearby shortly afterwards remain on police bail.
Another two 16-year-old boys arrested on Thursday are still being questioned by detectives.
Police have arrested another 16-year-old boy, who is being held at an east London police station.
Charles, known as CJ, was the 24th teenager to be fatally stabbed in London this year.
The attack happened close to where organisers of the London Olympics had planned to show the closing ceremony of the Beijing games on a giant screen.
Meanwhile, a murder investigation has been launched after 16-year-old Luke Howard was stabbed to death at a party in Liverpool.
Police were called to a house in Ashcombe Road, Old Swan, just after 7am on Saturday and discovered Luke had been stabbed, a spokeswoman for Merseyside Police said. He died in hospital.
A 15-year-old boy is being questioned on suspicion of murder after handing himself in at a police station.
Superintendent Graham Yip of Merseyside Police said: "It appears that this incident took place following an argument at a party at this property.
"We are appealing for anyone who was at the address during the course of this party to come forward and make contact with the police.
"House-to-house inquiries are ongoing and there is a high visibility police presence in the area."
