Alba talks Swayze and Lily Allen
Hollywood star Jessica Alba has expressed her sadness over the news that Patrick Swayze has cancer.
Swayze, 55, has being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer but is said to be "responding well to treatment".
The actress spoke out while in London to promote her new film The Eye which is out in April.
The 26-year-old remembers watching Swayze's hit films Dirty Dancing and Ghost as a child.
"I grew up with him, so it's always horrible to hear of anybody having any kind of illness."
The actress, who is constantly surrounded by photographers fighting for her picture, also said there should be tougher controls on the paparazzi.
She said: "I think there should be a law that they have to stay away, that they can't be so close and I wish we had a law in our country where they didn't show the children's faces."
Her comments came after Lily Allen's scrape with a crowd of paps outside a trendy London nightclub which resulted in her car window being accidentally smashed.
Speaking of the Smile singer, Alba said: "I sat next to Lily at a Chanel show I think. She's lovely."
