Frank Lampard scored a controversial penalty as Chelsea drew 1-1 with Liverpool at Anfield.
Fernando Torres gave the home team the lead when he surged past Tal Ben Haim and flicked the ball past Petr Cech.
Styles also appeared to book Chelsea defender Michael Essien twice without sending him off
But referee Rob Styles awarded Chelsea a penalty for a foul by Steve Finnan on Florent Malouda.
Television replays showed Malouda jumped into Finnan's path and prevented the defender from reaching the ball as it passed through the penalty area.
However, the penalty was given and Lampard converted to earn a point.
Styles also appeared to book Chelsea defender Michael Essien twice without sending him off but the official insists he showed the yellow card to John Terry.
