Ronaldo takes advice from Scolari
Portugal coach Luiz Felipe Scolari has given Cristiano Ronaldo advice about his future.
Real Madrid have made Ronaldo a major transfer target, but their president Ramon Calderon admitted earlier this week Manchester United do not want to sell.
However, Ronaldo is still facing daily questions about his future.
Scolari has not revealed what he has advised Ronaldo to do, but his comments will not please Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson.
Scolari said: "We've spoken a lot, as for him I'm more than an older friend, and I've given him some advice.
"For me football is not about memories but chances, which sometimes don't present themselves again. Regardless of the decision he makes about his future we're here to support him."
