Mel C has hinted that the Spice Girls may finally reform before the end of the year.

Despite completely ruling out rumours that the five-piece were in talks to make a comeback a few months ago, Mel has now admitted that the chances of the girl group getting back together are closer than ever.

"Nothing has been agreed but it could happen" - Mel C

The move comes after Victoria Beckham revealed that a reunion could be on the cards.

Mel said: "Nothing has been agreed but it could happen. We all think it would be nice to just do a final farewell, a bit of nostalgia, a big thank you to all the fans globally. It could happen.

"There's no way we'd reform for good though because I love being a solo artist. That fulfils me. The Spice Girls would just be a bit of fun."

The reunion is expected to happen in December and rumours are rife that each member has been offered up to £5 million.
