Student in court over Harrow murder
A university student has appeared at the Old Bailey for the first time charged with the murder of a Harrow schoolmaster's daughter.
William Jaggs, 22, of Harrow-on-the-Hill, north west London, is accused of murdering 25-year-old Lucy Braham last September.
The Oxford undergraduate spoke only to confirm his name. His mother watched the five-minute hearing from the public gallery above.
He was remanded in custody to face trial on July 2.
Miss Braham, a promising fashion graduate whose father is art director at the famous public school, was stabbed to death in her own home in Harrow-on-the-Hill.
Jaggs, whose father is a design teacher at Harrow, was found in the house suffering from stab wounds after the incident.
