Mills a hit on US dancing show

Heather Mills is fast becoming a favourite on hit US TV show Dancing With The Stars.

The ex-model is currently locked in a bitter divorce battle with her estranged husband Sir Paul McCartney but has not let it stop her from wowing the crowds with her skills on the dance-floor

The 38-year-old who is the first person to take part in the show with a prosthetic leg - jived her way into a safe position whilst former Miss USA Shandi Finnessey was ejected from the series after a public vote.

After watching her routine, judge Bruno Tonioli called her "the incredible Heather Mills", adding: "One, two three legs, I don't care how many - you did a fantastic job." .

The scoring for the show is divided equally between the judges' scores and the viewer votes.

Mills scored 24 points out of 30 - putting her in joint first place by the end of the programme. She is expected to perform either the paso doble or the waltz on the next show.
