Reports claim Manchester United and Inter Milan could make bids for West Ham striker Carlos Tevez.

The Argentina international proved to be a controversial figure in the Premiership last season.

Tevez impressed at Upton Park and scored some crucial goals to keep West Ham up

His transfer from the Brazilian club Corinthians led to a £5.5 million fine for the Hammers and Sheffield United have launched a legal battle claiming West Ham should have been deducted points and therefore relegated.

Despite the claims, Tevez impressed at Upton Park and scored some crucial goals to keep West Ham up, including the only goal in a 1-0 win at Manchester United on the last day of the season.

Tevez has admitted he does not know if he will stay at West Ham, and insists his agent Kia Joorabchian will arrange any transfer.

United were offered a chance to sign Tevez last year but turned down the offer, meanwhile it is claimed Joorabchian has held talks with Inter Milan officials.
