Capello to choose between two captains
England boss Fabio Capello says two players are still in contention to become permanent captain.
Capello's tried Steven Gerrard, Rio Ferdinand, John Terry and David Beckham and he's promised to choose a permanent captain before the World Cup qualifiers begin in September.
He's admitted two players are still in the frame, but won't say who.
But he's made it clear he's looking for a good communicator, who sets an example on the field and commands the respect of his team-mates.
Capello said: "The captain must be a leader and he must lead on the pitch and set an example on the pitch. When he speaks, the players have to listen to him.
"I haven't decided who will be captain but I have two ideas. It is down to two. That is all I am saying."
