R&B star Jamelia thinks more action needs to be taken to curb the recent spate of teenage killings in London.

She said: It's a very sad time and I think as soon as everyone realises that something needs to be done, the sooner the better really.

"These youths are the people who are gonna be the adults of tomorrow" - Jamelia

"I think the government has got alot of power and alot of money...I don't just think the setting up of youth centres....maybe sending people into schools to talk to people, counselors.

"I just feel there's alot that could be done that isn't being done and I feel that it's very important."

The mother-of-two added: "These youths are the people who are gonna be the adults of tomorrow and I think we need to really invest in that and understand how important it is to support these people now.

"And even young children, before they get into this lifestyle, I think it's very important and I would love to see a change."
