Phillips Idowu has won a silver medal for Great Britain in the triple jump.
Idowu recorded the longest jump in qualifying and he was the favourite to win the gold medal.
Idowu recorded 17.62 metres with his third jump and briefly led the competition
But he was beaten by Nelson Evora of Portugal.
