50 Cent sued by ex-girlfriend

Millionaire rap star 50 Cent is being sued by his former girlfriend Shaniqua Tompkins in a property row.

According to papers filed in New York, Tompkins claims the singer is trying to evict her and their ten-year-old son from their home.

She reckons 50 Cent, real name Curtis Jackson, promised her the Long Island pad worth an impressive £1.2 million but now wants it back.

Tompkins stuck by the rapper when he got shot in 2000 and nursed him back to health, as he showed in his semi-autobiographical film Get Rich Or Die Tryin'.

The 32-year-old is currently paying monthly child support for his son Marquise.
