The hit 80's adventure movie, Indiana Jones, is getting a modern day makeover for its fourth instalment.

The iconic whip and hat will be donned by Harrison Ford once again as he reprises his title role for more epic adventures.

Hollywood's elite, Steven Spielberg and George Lucas, will be the dream team behind the camera on Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.

British actor Ray Winstone has the enviable task of playing Indiana's action man sidekick Mac. He relished the opportunity for such a big role.

"It just shows you what we can do. We go from independent movies and then someone sees you in those films. That's what happened with me with Scorsese."

Jim Broadbent takes up the role of Dr Jones' academic friend from Yale and Aussie star Cate Blanchett and up-and-coming actor Shia LaBeouf are also been signed up to the classic film.

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull is due to hit cinemas next year.
