No holes barred for China's Pin Man
An acupuncturist has been touting for business in Beijing - with 206 flags pinned to his scalp.
Wei Shengchu says each of the flags represents the 205 nations competing at the 2008 Games, with a final pin representing the Olympic torch.
It takes Wei four to five hours to insert the 8cm long needles and he has earned the nicknames Pin Man or Hedgehog.
Since July, the roller-skating legend has been touring China with his miniature flags to show his support for the Games.
In 2004, Wei set a new Guinness Book of World Records title by sticking 1,790 needles into his head and face.
Wei said: "People like to stick the national flag on their cheeks so I thought if I can use Chinese traditional medicine, and decorate the pins as flag poles, it would be more meaningful."
