Human dominoes topple corruption

Nearly 10,000 people gathered in Taiwan to try to break the world record for the longest chain of human dominoes.

The toppling dominoes were supposed to symbolise the fall of the corruption that has plagued elections in the Asian republic.
Participant Wu Hsiungchong said voters were used to political parties trying to buy votes with free gifts.
He added: "It has become better now, people's election awareness has matured, knowing we should not accept bribery."
Last year's elections were marred by allegations of vote-buying by Taiwanese parties.
