Date set for Woolmer inquest
An inquest into the death of former Pakistan cricket coach Bob Woolmer will be held in Jamaica on April 23.
Patrick Murphy, the coroner for Kingston, will conduct the inquest, which could last up to a month and will see more than 20 people testify.
Mr Woolmer, 58, was found by staff in his Kingston hotel room on March 18 and was later pronounced dead in hospital. According to police he had been strangled.
His death came one day after Pakistan's shock defeat in the Cricket World Cup to minnows Ireland.
The inquest will be held at the Jamaica Conference Centre which houses local and international meetings as the coroner's office was not deemed adequate to hold the inquest.
Two members of Pakistan's police force are reportedly in Jamaica to assist local and UK police personnel in trying to solve the murder.
The seven-week World Cup culminates in the April 28 final in Barbados.
