Paula Abdul has fluffed her chance to remind the world of her singing talents.

The American Idol judge lined-up alongside Alicia Keys at the American Superbowl for a pre-match sing-song.

But when the tables were turned, the judges scored her poorly.

Her new single went down like a lead balloon with critics after she lip-synched her way through Dance Like There's No Tomorrow.

Fortunately for Abdul, Simon Cowell was not on hand to give his appraisal.

But he might yet get his chance. The 45-year-old singer is said to be working on a new album for release in the summer.
