Clubber stabbed to death
A murder inquiry is under way after a nightclubber was stabbed to death at an all-night music event.
The 29-year-old man died in hospital after being attacked outside the Q Club in Birmingham city centre in the early hours of Sunday.
West Midlands Police said many people in cars and on foot were in the area at the time of the stabbing, which happened as around 1,500 people left the club in Corporation Street.
Superintendent Matt Ward said: "The victim had recently left the nightclub. At the time of the attack there were numerous people walking or driving through Corporation Street."
A post-mortem examination is due to take place later and witnesses to the stabbing are being sought.
