Jacko woos fans in Japan
Michael Jackson greeted more than a thousand fans in Tokyo when he attended a popular nightclub.
Tickets for the party were sold for £65 and there were no shortage of takers.
At the party, the guests, mostly in their 20s and 30s, were treated to a stage show but were not granted the one-on-one opportunity that partygoers had received a day earlier and the normally reclusive singer let his hair down.
On that occasion several hundred fans and business people had paid £1,700 for a chance to meet and greet Jackson at a dinner held in his honour.
The pop star had chosen 11 winners of a competition in which fans had created pieces of art depicting the star. The 11 artists won an opportunity to dine with the Jackson on Saturday night.
At the party on Friday, Jackson appeared on stage singing along to a recording of his hit song 'You Are Not Alone,' before declaring to the crowd that he loved them.
