A giant octopus has found a new way of passing the time at an aquarium in the UK - with his lego.

Two-year-old Ollie the giant Pacific octopus, who measures five metres across, likes to hold the plastic building blocks with his tentacles.

Giant octopuses are very intelligent and like to play with toys of different shapes and textures

But his keepers at the Sea Life Park in Weymouth, Dorset, admit he has yet to build anything recognisable.

Giant octopuses are very intelligent and like to play with toys of different shapes and textures.

Ollie's keeper Catherine Cservenka said :"Octopuses are very intelligent so to keep them in captivity you have to keep them really occupied with different things.

"We give them different toys to play with and Lego is one of their favourite toys."
