Stars prepare for Cannes
The stars of Hollywood are preparing to descend on Cannes for the film festival's 60th anniversary.
The opening night will see the launch of My Blueberry Nights with Jude Law and Natalie Portman.
George Clooney is taking Oceans 13 there with Brad Pitt, while his partner Angelina Jolie will be promoting her new movie A Mighty Heart.
The main competition features more than 20 films, including five US productions, and heavyweight directors such as Quentin Tarantino, the Coen brothers, Gus Van Sant, Sarajevo-born Emir Kusturica and Russia's Alexander Sokurov.
British director Stephen Frears, whose latest film The Queen focuses on the Royal Family and the death of Princess Diana, will head this year's jury.
The Cannes Film Festival will run from May 16-27.
