Dance superstar Moby says he is not worried about what kind of critical reception his new album gets.

The 42-year-old has a habit of avoiding reading reviews of his work after getting a rough time over his biggest seller, the 1999 smash Play.

"I now make a very concerted effort not to read anything that's ever written about me, because I have had so many bad reviews and had so many negative things written about me" - Moby

Moby can still quote particularly savage press responses to the album, which went on to shift around ten million copies.

He said: "I now make a very concerted effort not to read anything that's ever written about me, because I have had so many bad reviews and had so many negative things written about me."

New release Last Night marks a return to the 80s house music that inspired him - something he attributes to a recent decision to take up DJ-ing again.

The record features collaborations with a host of newcomers including British rapper Aynzli, who Moby discovered after hearing him on MySpace.
