She may be one half of the coolest couples on earth, but when a flying chunk of ice hit her head, Kate Moss was raging.

The supermodel had been scheduled to perform, along with boyfriend Pete, at a friend's birthday shindig at a club in London.

Kate Moss, whose prized looks earn her over £15 million each year, was left with a bump on her head.

As the drinks flowed, Kate and her friends started playing around by lobbing chunks of ice at each other.

Sources at the club said it was "all a bit of a laugh" until one of the frozen projectiles made impact with Kate's forehead.

The model, whose prized looks are worth over £15 million, was left with a swelling on her head.

When someone joked that she should put some ice on the swelling to help it go down, it was a jibe too far and the model fled through the back doors of the club sporting a bowler hat to hide the throbbing lump.

Kate's boyfriend Pete had just arrived in a cab to perform a duet but the model jumped into the awaiting vehicle and the pair sped away.
