West Brom and Stoke are promoted

Stoke City have clinched automatic promotion to the Premier League by holding Leicester City to a goalless draw.

On an emotional day at the Britannia Stadium, thousands of Stoke fans invaded the pitch at the final whistle, but the result means Leicester are relegated to League One.

West Bromwich Albion ensured they ended the season as Championship winners by beating QPR 2-0

Southampton avoided the drop by beating Sheffield United 3-2 at St Mary's and Coventry City also stay up despite losing 4-1 to Charlton Athletic.

Hull City missed out on automatic promotion as they were beaten 1-0 at Ipswich Town and they will go into the play-offs along with Bristol City, Crystal Palace and Watford.

Wolves missed out on the play-offs despite beating Plymouth Argyle 1-0.
